A lady on Whidbey Island (WA) had an abandoned 1972 Apache Mesa Pop-up camper on her property. She didn't have the crank tool to open it, so she just wanted it hauled off, or else she was going to take it to the dump. We contacted her and took a road trip up from Seattle to check it out. Just bought a Fender Twin Reverb guitar amplifier ('65 reissue) from @Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar in the Seattle neighborhood of Fremont, so I had to celebrate with this rendition of Link Wray's classic: "Rumble". Well here it is, probably my best take, with mistakes and all. It's quite hard to sync the three tracks, and I need a mixing board to separate the vocals and guitar so I can mix them better. I welcome any comments! Like and subscribe for more music videos.

How come you chose not to make any of the pistol slides lock back when reloading/empty, like in the other counter strike games? (Except for berettas)
Wasn’t my decision. That’s how it was before so that’s how I had to keep it.
@@adamcrockett ah I see thanks for the response. just one more quick question, what are your thoughts on your animations still being used in cs2, are you happy with them or do you think they should be replaced?
@@freezy2755 that would take some beers for me to get up on a soap box lol. It’s fine I guess. If they’re still in there they must like them, which makes me happy. Do you think they should be replaced? I’d love the feedback!
@@adamcrockett I don’t think the animations should be fully replaced, one of the reasons I think they got so much hate was because it’s the same animation every time you reload regardless of whether you emptied the magazine or not. Some of the animations look quite good, like the mac-10’s inspect and reload (I like how the grip moves around) and the ak-47’s reload animation, but others are kinda dated and obviously incorrect, like the berettas, where the slides go forward but the character doesn’t use the slide release, or the deagle, where the entire barrel clips through your characters hand when it’s equipped. Instead of fully replacing the animations I think the best solution would be to fix errors on the old anims like the ones I mentioned above, and add new ones for when the gun isn’t empty

I just picked up an apache in nov 2022 in Ontario its in rough shape, but it was free. I live in Ontario. I just closed it up and brought it home waiting for nice weather to open it in spring of 2023. Any advice you have on apache tent trailer would be great help... My sister is currently doing the RV life in Texas. So if their is anything she can pick up in the states and bring back with her let me know.

Just replaced the gearboxes on it, actually. Raises and lowers smoothly now. Replaced the seals and living hinge on the bed ends. Still needs some wiring and propane hose work
@@adamcrockett I have never owned a camper but these are available for very low prices on Facebook marketplace, one of them about an hour from my house for $3000. I like the no-canvas build but in terms of setup and water leaks I wonder if these are better or worse than the many affordable pop-ups out there. They definitely have a dedicated following as I have discovered while researching! Enjoyed your video. Hope to see an update!

Were the first person animations in the alpha version mocapped? (No worries if you aren't able to answer)
No it was all hand animated but some keys/poses were copied from the mocap.
That was cs go pre-alpha before original alpha from august 2011.This was made earlier than august 2011.Cs go was supposed to be very similar to cs source and this pre-alpha had cs source maps and a lot of unused weapons with cs source animations but with different sounds:MP5,P228,SG-550,SG-552 unscoped,M3,USP unsilenced,TMP,IDF defender from cs source (IMI galil arm instead of cs go's IWI galil ace)and SCAR-17

I think that one plugin you had your hand on could have either been for the 12 volt ceiling lights (maby new plug was put on at some point if old one broke or wore out) and if not those then could be for the 12 volt vent fan and That is in Amazing good condition inside im getting set to get a regular canvas popup also older but looking at these apaches makes me sure want to get one!

Do you know anything or have any memories of the map de_lighthouse? I found a soundcache manifest file in the 2011 beta files referring to this map, probably removed during its development
